Debugging Design: Principles to help developers
make their designs not look bad.

Debugging Design is a book currently in development. Enter your email address and I'll keep you up to date with book progress, including sending you exclusive chapters for you to read, for free.

In this book, I'm going to be sharing fool-proof processes that you can use to debug your designs.

I'm going to be showing you how to identify problem areas in a design and fix them.

Because teaching you how to design something that looks spot-on from scratch is hard.

In fact, I'd go as far to say it's practically impossible.

Instead, I'm going to teach you a process that's more realistic. Both for new designers and established ones.

I'm going to teach you an easily repeatable process that you can use to design, analyse, design, analyse until you have something that looks good.

About the author

I’m Laura Elizabeth and I’ve been a designer for 6+ years. When I first started, I felt like a fraud because as much as I tried I just couldn't make anything look good.

In time I realised that design isn't a skill you are born with. You can learn it, I just took the long way around.

So now I'm teaching developers over at Design Academy how to level up their design skills so they don't look pants.
